The Street Store and the Little Free Food Pantry are mutual aid projects initiated by Veronica at VAN GOGH DESIGN in Berkeley, California. I set aside a portion of my income as a designer to cover the print costs of signage for these projects. We created sandwich boards, postcards, multiple weatherproof signs for the outdoor pantry, and purchased industrial clothing racks for the outdoor store, which we set up in downtown San Francisco outside the SF Public Library in Civic Center.

This page lists the partners I worked with while running both projects. It takes a village!

The next project in 2025 will be a pop-up self-care bank, where we’ll distribute diapers, period supplies, baby wipes, hand soap, and more. I’m not sure what to call it yet… Maybe The Care Bear Pop-Up? That could be fun—I like the idea of a retro '80s feel.
